Digital &
Interactive

Websites, UX design, motion graphics and interactive experiences built on the same principles as the print work — considered, durable and clear.

Scroll

Digital work for complex organisations demands exactly the same discipline as any other form of communication design — rigorous structure, considered hierarchy, and a clear understanding of what each audience needs.

The digital work here is not flashy. It is functional, accessible and built to last beyond the next technology cycle.

Deliverables

  • Website design & information architecture
  • UX design & user research
  • Motion graphics & animation
  • Interactive data visualisation
  • Digital publications & microsites
  • Educational & explainer content

01

Information architecture

Digital work begins with understanding what different audiences need to find and in what order. Structure is designed before aesthetics — navigation, hierarchy and flow established before a single visual decision is made.

02

Design for longevity

Digital projects for institutions must survive staff turnover, CMS migrations and shifting priorities. The design systems delivered here are deliberately simple to maintain — and deliberately hard to break.

03

Motion with purpose

Animation and interactive elements are used only when they serve comprehension. Motion is not decoration here — every animated element does communicative work that static design cannot.

From brief to live

01

Brief & discovery

Every project starts with understanding the audience, the purpose and the constraints. For websites and apps this includes a content audit, user research questions and a clear definition of what success looks like — before any visual work begins.

02

Structure & wireframes

Information architecture and user flows are mapped and agreed before design starts. Wireframes establish hierarchy, navigation logic and content structure — catching problems cheaply, before they become expensive to fix in a finished design.

03

Visual design & prototyping

Design is built on the agreed structure. For interactive work, key flows are prototyped so the client can navigate and test before development begins. For motion work, animatics are reviewed and approved before full animation production.

04

Development handoff or delivery

Final designs are delivered with full specifications — annotated for developers, with assets exported at every required resolution. Where development is handled externally, handoff includes a design system document so the team can build consistently without repeated design intervention.

05

Review & launch support

The implemented product is reviewed against the approved design before launch. For animation and interactive work, final files are delivered in the formats needed for each platform — web, broadcast, social or embedded — with compression and accessibility checks completed.

Digital that works
as hard as print.

Bring in a designer who applies the same rigour to screens as to documents — because your audiences deserve both. Placeholder — real content to be added.
